Gokyo
September 29, 2017

Dear Family & Friends:

Today was our rest day in Gokyo.

Micah climbed Gokyo Ri mountain in the morning. The rest of us rested, except for Jeff and Alex who worked hard with filming, editing and interviews. Everyone is AOK.

Tomorrow, at 6:30 am, we fly to Base Camp to join Noel and our four Sherpas. We are all really excited.

This will be my last email post as we will not have internet services at BC or on the mountain. I will be filing audio reports with my satellite telephone, so stay tuned for those reports. Sadly, no more photos, so please enjoy this last batch.

Tenzing, our especially beloved Porter. He is deaf and can't speak. He mutters sounds just like Ollie. He carried over 50 kg of weight on his back, more than the other porters. He is over 60 years old
