David Liano, Mingma Sherpa and Bill Burke

In 2008, when my trip was cut short because of illness, David Liano gave me an ancient Tibetan coin and asked me to bring it back in 2009 and place it on the summit. He said he would retrieve it the following year. Here is a photo of David and me at Base Camp in 2009 with the coin. I did my part. Now David has to find the coin this year.
