Four of my grandsons play high school football. Billy played on the freshman team at San Marino High School. Luke and Danny played on the freshman team at Corona Del Mar High School. This year, the CDM freshman team had an undefeated season.
Josh played on the CDM varsity football squad which won the CIF State Football Championship. To make this even sweeter, Josh scored the winning touchdown in the state championship game on a 62-yard pass reception. Here he is making what his proud grandpa now refers to as “The Catch.”
At the ring ceremony at school, I told Josh I always wanted to wear a CIF Championship ring. He made that wish come true:
Here he is with his proud Mom & Dad.
And, here are the state champions showing off their rings with their wonderful cheerleaders.
In my next post, I will introduce my 2 new Sherpas.
Bill
