Rim-To-Rim

In 2007 and 2010, I completed Rim-to-Rim hikes in the magnificent Grand Canyon.

In 2007, Rick Dryer, Phil Brinson and I started from the South Rim and descended on the Bright Angel Trail 9.3 miles and 4,500 feet to the Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon. We then ascended on the North Kaibab Trail 14.3 miles and 6,000 feet to the North Rim. In 2010, with a different group of friends, I reversed the order and hiked from the North Rim to the South Rim. In both trips, the scenery and camaraderie were fantastic.
