(Multiple gaps in audio…)
From Bill’s wife Sharon- “A lot of the audio that Bill sent was not clear. Bill and Mingma called me earlier tonight to get the weather report. At first he said his plan was to try for the summit on the 20th, but after hearing the weather report, the audio said it would be the 19th. He said he was exhausted when arriving at Advanced Base Camp. Said it is a LONG way from Intermediate Base Camp to Advanced Base Camp.”

Namaste,
Dan Mazur is up there, too. If you see him, will you tell him I said, hello? I wish you continued good health and much strength. Love hearing of your amazing progress and great attitude.

Namaste, Bill. Your reports are catching up with me, and I’m thrilled to hear of your progress from Intermediate Camp to Advanced Camp–albeit an exhausting trip. As you plan for the summit assault remember: “The difference between getting somewhere and nowhere is the courage to make an early start.” (Charles Schwab) Blessings,
Rockman
