Dear Family & Friends:
In September of last year, I rode my Harley Davidson motorcycle to Seattle to have a sidecar constructed so I can take my 12-year old disabled grandson, Oliver, on road trips.
Construction of the sidecar is complete, and I am traveling to Seattle today to pick up my bike and sidecar. The weather forecast looks grim, so I am guessing my trip home will be an Everest experience.
If I can thaw out my hands at the end of the day, I’ll post some messages and photos on the way home.
Here is a photo of the sidecar.
I can’t wait to see the look on Ollie’s face when he enjoys his first ride. I’ll share that video with you.

Have a safe trip, Bill. Get some good gloves!!
This is precious! Have a safe trip home. I cannot wait to see the video.
Love to you and your family,
Joanne
You never do anything halfway, do you Bill? Nicely done. Travel safely.
That is just fabulous! I love Harley’s anyway, the sidecar is beautiful and the blessings for you and Ollie can not even be measured! You are amazing.
what an awesome Papa you are to Ollie (and all of your grandkids really). The love of a grandpa has no limits and you have pulled out all the stops with this special experience for Ollie. How many kids even know what a sidecar is?!!!! Looking forward to the video of Ollie’s first ride. Praying for safe travels home from the great northwest.
Blessings,
Debra & Bill Hall
You are an amazing person to say the least!! You cease to amaze me with all that you do.
You have accomplished so much in life – climbing Mt. Everest – oldest person ever – awesome!!
As a young lawyer at Sheppard, Mullin, with four children – that was incredible – what a great father and loving husband. Very impressive. Now with 13 grandkids – how great is that!!
I last saw you on Figueroa Street as you were going to Shearman & Sterling (starting to grey at the temples – so handsome). I’m sorry that you were not able to go lunch at the City Club in Costa Mesa with Judge Andy Guildford, Sheila, Candice and me as you had already scheduled a hike with some of your grandkids. Sorry we missed you – I’m sure you had a great hike with your grandkids.
You are so blessed with a wonderful family and especially Ollie. You are a very special person in so many ways – what a role model for your children and grandchildren. What a wonderful life!! God bless you and yours. Thanks for sharing your story of Ollie and the wonderful photos.
Hope to see you some time in the future. Looking forward to your upcoming videos.
Happy early birthday!! Take care.
Love,
Darlene, Candice & Bryan (Brennan – only one grandson)
Washington/Oregon weather is always severe this time of the year, but heading to the coast will avoid the harsh realities of travel through the Cascade Range. Blessings on this “shakedown” cruise. You’ll have time to plan Ollie’s first excursion with “papa”

Best wishes for a safe journey. God’s speed.
Sending good thoughts your way, hoping the weather isn’t too bad!! I’m so excited to see the pictures and video of Ollie riding in his new sidecar!! Zackary would be on cloud nine for sure!!

Have a safe trip. Looking forward to your adventures with Ollie.

Sweet — I want a ride!!!
CONGRATULATIONS Bill – the sidecar is amazing and the experience you are going to share with your grandson when he gets to ride in it, goes beyond words. GOD BLESS and thank you for putting a smile on my face as alway.
Your life story needs to be a movie. Everything you do and everywhere you go is an adventure! Oliver is going to LOVE it!
