Dear Family & Friends:
Yesterday was “Surf Day” for our Nepalese Beach Boy.
We all met at 24th Street, one of the hottest surfing venues in Newport Beach. Our dear friends, Paul & Denise Fejtek, opened up their beautiful beach home for us.
Mingma had an abundance of teachers for his surfing lesson, including my grandson, Josh Giger, and Paul. He entered the chilly waters of the Pacific with great bravery and determination. Fortunately, the surf was light, so it was a good day for a lesson. Mingma performed well, although it was clear he was a bit nervous and intimidated by this adventure at sea level.
After the surfing lesson, we all enjoyed pizza and wine on the rooftop deck of the Fejtek home.
Today is Disneyland.
Bill
What a great family you and Sharon have made together. Including your special guest and “brother” Mingma. His real treat is your family and their generosity of spirit. You live life to the fullest Bill where ever you are and just plain show everyone else how it SHOULD be done. Good Job. Thanks for letting us share in your joy.
So Disneyland is next for the Beach Boys! Unbelievable; this is all so cool. At least it’s not snowing in Boston! Those beach houses in the backdrop look appealing. Do you think an offer of $150K would be accepted?
Happy 4th!
P.
