Thanks to the generosity of some friends of Amy & Simon (Kelly & Vinny), Mingma has front row seats to a presentation today by the Dalai Lama at the Honda Center in Anaheim. He is beyond excited.

Tomorrow, he leaves for San Francisco where he will spend a few days with Sherpa friends. Then, he travels to Seattle to visit Sherpa friends. From Seattle he will fly to New York and spend about 8 days with Sherpa friends. From New York, he will travel back home to Kathmandu. He’s certainly getting the full experience in America with this first trip.
