Dear Family & Friends:
Thanks to the generosity of Kelly & Vinny, two of Amy & Simon’s dear friends, Mingma was able to participate in the 80th birthday celebration of His Holiness The Dalai Lama. This meant so much to Mingma and his family in Nepal. His elderly mother was especially pleased. Here is a short clip with Mingma’s video and photos from the event:
For our last dinner with Mingma, we ate at the Himalayan Grille in Huntington Beach. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and our time-together with Mingma. This morning, I took Mingma to the airport. His next destination is San Francisco.
Thanks to everyone who made this trip so special for Mingma.
Bill
We will miss you Mingma!
Hi Bill, Have enjoyed following your your SoCal adventures with Mingma. Thanks for sharing with him the best of American hospitality. No doubt Mings will fondly and forever cherish the memories of his time with you and your family. Hope to have the honor of meeting Mingma someday.

Bill,
I would be curious as to how Mingma felt living at sea level. Did he notice any additional energy, or did the smog balance things out?
Don:
Mingma lives with his family in Kathmandu, Nepal, which is 4,600 feet above sea level. So, he was not affected by the trip to sea level.

Bill,
Still chuckling over the San Jacinto post–“that’s no mountain”!
Rockman
Sorry to burst your bubble Rock Man.

Thank you so much for all the sharing Bill. I’ve enjoyed each one. May the Lord continue to bless you in all you do.
