OUR BELOVED DANNY
Our Beloved Danny
In December of 2018, our grandson, Danny Giger, was killed in a skiing accident in Colorado. He was 21-years old and was scheduled to graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder in May of 2019. Danny was very clever and known for thinking outside of the box. He was a Computer Science major and, after several great internships, was ready to conquer the world.
Danny was full of life, spirit and adventure.
Danny especially enjoyed shocking his family and friends with his unannounced adventures, e.g., sky diving and trips to Europe, and his sometimes outlandish style of dress. I dedicated my 2019 Mississippi River trip to Danny.
Danny is deeply loved and missed by his family and friends. We think of him every day and mourn his loss. Please keep our beloved Danny and his family-Lisa, Jeff, Chelsea and Josh-in your prayers.
Here are the Mark Twain words that guided Danny’s life:
Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than the things you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the trade wins in your sails. Explore, dream, discover
