Namche Bazaar

Namaste

Family & Friends.

I am writing this from the cybercafe in Namche Bazaar.  The climb from Phakding to Namche Bazaar took about 5-1/2 hours, with an elevation gain of about 2,700 feet. The elevation gain is actually much more because the route is up and down.  The weather was overcast most of the way, which was nice because we stayed cool during the climb.  As soon as we arrived in Namche Bazaar, it started raining.  The rain turned into hail, and the hail turned into snow.  Right now it is snowing hard. I am attaching a photograph of the team that was taken in Phakding.
