You are a true adventurer and hero. Reply Marian Campbell on April 28, 2012 at 8:50 am I am glad you got away from the avalanche. That was scary. These are beautiful shots. Reply George Horwood on April 28, 2012 at 2:16 pm Bill – hope the Apr 28 avalanche that hit C1, did not impact your situation / status – let us know. Seems like it would be quite serious but nothing was mentioned on various web accounts. Good luck. Stay safe!! George Reply Larry and Rebecca on April 28, 2012 at 3:26 pm We saw you at the Adventure’s Club and decided we wanted to keep track of your expedition. This is really amazing. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this great adventure. Our prayers are with you and the others. God bless. Reply Betty Cady on April 28, 2012 at 6:04 pm Thank you, Bill, that you are taking this hike for us & can show us your adventure through your marvelous pictures. Believe me you are right about the high rent district, most expensive cloth hotel I have ever seen! In my youthful travels I stayed in some (Europe for $5. a day) hostels that had slanted floors, but yours beats them all, LOL. Continued prayers for you & yours. Blessings, Betty Reply Stacy Wyatt on April 28, 2012 at 7:14 pm The pictures are amazing Bill! Thanks for taking us with you on this adventure. Fantastic grins still!! Keeping you and all others in prayer…be safe!! Reply Bruce E. on April 29, 2012 at 8:16 am Enjoying the views be safe. Reply Cindy Carter on April 29, 2012 at 2:07 pm As always this is very exciting! Sending happy thoughts from PA! Reply Richard Dryer on April 29, 2012 at 3:15 pm Namaste Bill. Saint John Chrysostrom once said, “If there were no tribulation, there would be no rest; if there were no winter; there would be no summer.” You seem to have it all: tribulation, rest (in a sleeping bag on a glacier), winter and summer (both at once)!! Continued hiking blessing as you make your assault on the Lhotse Face–a daunting challenge. Rockman Reply Seema on April 29, 2012 at 4:48 pm You are truly an inspiration.
