Impressed, inspired, amazed, fired up … none even begin to equate with what you are telling those of us who reached our ‘Golden Years’. You are a true adventurer and hero.

Bill – hope the Apr 28 avalanche that hit C1, did not impact your situation / status – let us know. Seems like it would be quite serious but nothing was mentioned on various web accounts. Good luck. Stay safe!!

Thank you, Bill, that you are taking this hike for us & can show us your adventure through your marvelous pictures. Believe me you are right about the high rent district, most expensive cloth hotel I have ever seen! In my youthful travels I stayed in some (Europe for $5. a day) hostels that had slanted floors, but yours beats them all, LOL. Continued prayers for you & yours. Blessings, Betty

Namaste Bill. Saint John Chrysostrom once said, “If there were no tribulation, there would be no rest; if there were no winter; there would be no summer.” You seem to have it all: tribulation, rest (in a sleeping bag on a glacier), winter and summer (both at once)!! Continued hiking blessing as you make your assault on the Lhotse Face–a daunting challenge.
