Dear Family & Friends:
During the darkest days of World War II, King George VI came to the microphone of the BBC to deliver the annual Christmas message to the British Commonwealth. He spoke these eloquent and immortal words:
I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year: “Give me
a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.” And he replied:
“Go out into the darkness, and put your hand into the Hand of God.
That shall be to you better than a light and safer than the known way.”
As we approach the New Year, I take comfort in these words, and look forward to the future with great hope, promise and anticipation for the good things to come.
I wish all of you God’s richest blessings, and I hope you have a Happy Holiday Season and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2014.
Bill Burke
A wonderful message, Bill.
Likewise, all best wishes to you and your family in the New Year!

Happy New Years to you and Sharon and the entire Burke family
You are always upbeat – such an inspiration to me. God bless you and your family and God Bless America.
When in a tent high on Everest, and out there it’s bitterly cold, windy, and dark, you are not alone.
May God keep blessing you in everything you do, and may we be blessed with your presence for
years and years to come. A Blessed New Year for all!!
Wishing you, Sharon and your family a very healthy, happy, safe and fun new year.
Happy New Year, Bill – to you and your family. Thank you for this wonderful and inspiring New Year’s message. I wish you and your family the very best – always.
Bill – unless you’ve already seen it, I wanted to email you the 12/31/13 article “The Chaos on Everest” article from “The Week,” a wonderful weekly magazine. It’s a 2-pager. May I do that? (page 30, 31 of that issue).
Thank you.
Sincerely,
George White
