Dear Family & Friends:

May 9 was our final day of sailing. The 50 mile sail from North Bimini Islands to Miami was uneventful. We arrived at dusk and enjoyed the beautiful Miami skyline. Rick and I spent the night on the sailboat and enjoyed a nice meal with Bill & Denise. The following morning, Bill took us to shore on the dinghy. Rick flew home and I flew to Pittsburgh to attend my grandson, Gavin’s, graduating ceremonies on May 11 & 12 at Carnegie Mellon University.

Gavin’s parents, Dan & Tina, his brother, Bill, and my whole family are so proud of Gavin, who graduated with University Honors and was admitted as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. We wish him the best as he enters the workforce.

This trip met, and exceeded, all of my high expectations. We had a wonderful time in the Bahamas. It was fun to spend this time with my dear friend, Rick, and our fantastic hosts, Bill & Denise. Thanks Rick, Bill & Denise for making this trip so special and fun.
